At Absolute Canine, we believe scentwork is more than a sport — it’s a chance to really connect with your dog and help them do what they do best.
Each session includes:
- Nose games and search puzzles
- Scent pairing (learning a specific target scent)
- Container, vehicle, and environmental searches
- Confidence building and impulse control
- Real-life scent detection foundations
Canine Hoopers
Looking for an activity that gets your dog moving, thinking and you don’t need to run? Then you might just love Canine Hoopers.
This low-impact sport is a brilliant way to build focus, confidence, and connection with your dog – without the jumping, twisting, or pressure of high-intensity agility.
- No experience needed
- Suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Inclusive for owners and dogs with physical limitations
- And most importantly – it’s fun!
Our classes cover:
- Focus and distance work
- Handling techniques
- Flowing sequences through hoops, tunnels & barrels
- Teamwork and confidence-building
- Working at your own pace – no rushing!
Whether your dog is young, mature, super speedy or more of a thinker, they’ll benefit from the gentle mental and physical stimulation Hoopers brings.
Gun Dog Club
Designed for all gundog breeds and crosses — from total beginners to dogs with a bit of experience — this class is all about tapping into those natural instincts (like hunting, retrieving, and scenting) in a fun, controlled and positive way.
You don’t need to be a shooting person. You don’t need special gear. And you definitely don’t need to be out in the middle of nowhere at the crack of dawn.
What you do need is:
✔ A gundog breed or cross
✔ An interest in giving your dog mental stimulation
✔ A love for building your bond together
Our sessions focus on:
- Engagement and focus
- Retrieve games
- Stop and recall cues
- Pattern games and hunting exercises
- Self-control and fun challenges
Dog Club
Whether you’ve never trained your dog before or you’ve got a trick routine that could impress Crufts… our Dog Training Clubs are for you.
We run two weekly clubs, and they’re open to everyone – from total beginners to dog sport enthusiasts.
✅ Never done a training class before? No problem.
✅ Want to polish up skills or work on specific behaviours? We’ve got you.
✅ Looking for friendly, qualified support and a fun, social class? This is the place.

We have a large dedicated indoor training space and over an acre of private outdoor ground, so we can work on skills in different settings.
